While studying at Denmark’s TEKO Design School, Daniel Brix met Philip Lotko. The two creatives grew up in cities renowned for their textiles, so they bonded over their desire to create a label that was firmly rooted in Danish tradition. In “focusing on and elevating functional design,” they both were able to co-found Rains in 2012.
